We just got back from a couple's resort in the Poconos where we ordered "Sherlock Holmes a Game of Shadows"...which was outstanding...

Oh, and then we purchased the 24 hour unlimited porn package (On Friday AND Saturday

) which also had its own cinematic value...

(Not sure if that applies to my cinephile cred but we did have one heck of a weekend...)

Dark Shadows in the theater. it's a pretty movie, always is with Tim Burton, and i did giggle sometimes ... but, i wish there would be another one made more like the original series (which i love so much & am a huge fan of) - without the cheesy retro comedyness.

Kyle is a huge inspiration to me. Despite prejudices, hatred, etc., he fought every step of the way for what he wanted to achieve in life.

Winter Passing

I was surprised to see Ed Harris in this type of role. Overall the movie tried too hard to be quirky despite the depth of the subject matter. 3.5 M budget, but only grossed 101K; that should say something.

Best quote in the movie: "I just can't believe this is the same man who told his six-year-old daughter that Christmas was a Republican capitalistic conspiracy created by the Hallmark Corporation and that, if Jesus were alive today he'd be down in Nicaragua rallying the Sandinistas.
