There needs to be an understanding between the two people involved and I really think that there needs to be a touch compatibility. If you are a cuddler/toucher and the other person is not it really can't work long term, because someone is not getting their needs met.

Agreed on the understanding and negotiation of how much of my space you (general) think you are going to suck up. It is not a good idea to hook up, fuck, have a relationship with someone who doesn't find *cuddling* necessary to feel ok.

Negotiating touch and what's a healthy boundary so that neither party feel suffocated is a good idea when it comes to this kind of thing.
