Status update!

<<~ Okay, Okay! I confess that I have had this obsession with trying to outdo the best score I had in the arcade from two years ago. So, I what I found out was this (see below):

Player Details for Kätzchen

1st place finishes: 0
2nd place finishes: 0
3rd place finishes: 0
TOP TEN finishes: 1

Total games in the arcade: 226
Total games I have played: 4 (out of 226 types of arcade games)

Total times I have played games in the arcade: 50, 2775

What's not true in the set of statistics above is that I *did* win 3rd place, two years ago. But someone else did a bit better than me, so that erased my lovely 3rd place finish. However, because I did win 3rd place at one time, I get to be in the category of placing once in the TOP TEN finishes.

The figure logged for how many times I have played my favorite card game to see if I can place again, as a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place winner, is accurate though (Minus a few Disco Bowling Ball games).

<<~ is having a cup of coffee w/ cream & cinnamon & honey this morning as I get ready for my day of activities and noticing how chilly it is outside; smoke from my neighbor's fireplace is spiraling toward the skies, which are cloudless - I can see for miles and miles (past the pine trees). It's probably about 44 degrees outside? It's chilly!

<<~ Got up about an hour ago and found three email invitationals for interviews next week. This could mean that the proverbial tide is turning, but I'm being super cautious in feeling excited (for the moment).

I work tonight and also after seeing an amended work schedule for the next two weeks, I see I am working the night of Bob Dylan's concert and also working the opening pre-season night of Basketball - The Blazer's first game of the season.

Also, I am listening to an All India Radio playlist this morning. Currently playing: Black Satin. I wonder if this song would be the song that ends this season's episodes of DEXTER.

a Premonition, maybe?

<<~ is home sick: plans to gazelle around the universe with friends didn't work out today or for tomorrow. Don't wanna make them sick, too. Thought I'd come hang out and read and play come card games while I lay in bed with my pillows, hot tea and kleenex.
