If Scott Browns concession speech goes much longer, I may have to go push him off the stage. Warren, first female senator from Ma. Cool. Kennedy taking Barney Franks seat. 67 counties in FL and 2 of the biggest are Obama supporters and are carrying Obama. Hillsbourough (Tampa and surrounding cities) and Miami Dade.

I've been asked what the Electoral College means in all of this. It's a numbers game, first one to 270 wins. If you look on the map provided each state gets so many college votes, the combination of each gets the candidates to the 270 needed to win. I'm only using MSNBC's #s because I want to keep track of each state as they come in. Going back n forth between sources will screw me up.

The way it is looking If the President wins FL it could be game over.
FL is now 94 % reporting with Obama 49.8 to 49.3 Fl has 29 electoral votes and wow Tx has 38 and CA 55! CA goes to Obama, TX to Romney. As it is basically Romney has to win FL, and most of the other states. Looking more optimistic for Obama! |
