While on my lunchbreak, I passed an older gentleman riding his bicycle, and noticed a little carriage that was attached at the back. After a closer look, I saw his cute little puppy dog stick his nose out

Letting my dad take the lead in our project.. (actually my project, he's just taken over..)
I was bitching about it to my love when she said something that struck me as truth.. (Paraphrased) He is your dad.. He is always going to see you as his lil girl.. He is always going to try to teach you.. He is always going to have to be the *Boss* and you be the *helper* So.. we are now doing it my dad's way.. and it's taking twice as long.. BUT... I got to thinking.... My dad is around to frustrate me, to crank me out, to slow me down... And I am grateful for it..

After court today, I'm almost 100% legal
That makes three days of dealing with bureaucratic offices, officers, waiting, and paying After court, I went and bought all kinds of plants for our yard...including a lemon eucalyptus tree that smells absolutely incredible. Going over to my friends' house. They are so cute. They have been together for a few years now, and moved into a new house. I got my dining room set from them last weekend, and being a bachelor I dont have much kitchen stuff since I eat out alot. I was given whatever they had two of.. So pots and pans, Iced Tea Maker, Food Processor, Mixer, and an insulated lunch bag to start taking my lunches in.
Im so grateful for the things they just gave me. One of them was laid off a few months after they started dating and found a job makes 4xs less than what she was used too, and recently had an interview to put her back in the type of position she was in... They just got their new house. Watching at how much in love they are is just so refreshing. I love seeing couples who compliment each other. |
