I have a great sense of direction, yet I do not know my left from my right. If we are driving it's going to be, make a driver turn or make a passenger turn. Or it could be, turn your way, or turn my way. I do know east, west, north and south..go figure?

I have exactly the same problem with right and left. It started when I suffered a concussion as a teenager. Sure makes giving and getting directions difficult. But, like you, I can navigate using north, south, east, and west.
