Oh My goodness, I totally did not expect this.. thank you all so much. This has been an extraordinary day for Me thus far.
Today was not only My birthday, but it was also My last day at work, a job I have held for 7 years, at a company that I love, co-workers that have become family, customers that I adore, and it was with such a heavy heart that I left there today. I am embarking on a new adventure, and joining My love in San Antonio very soon. I was showered with love and gifts today at work, and received the coveted National True Value parting gift of a Swiss Army Watch with the True Value emblem inside the face. things are not given easliy, and I was floored to have received it. I have seen many a long timer leave this company and have only seen one other person actually receive this timepiece, and he had been there over 20 years. I am humbled beyond words. My national account executive from ATT came down to our town to take Me to lunch and spend the afternoon with Me. I was given a thank you cake, and 2 diff flower arrangements (from My fairy boy friends) lol and so many gifts and hugs and thank you's from customers it was really really awe inspiring. My son is cooking Me a steak dinner tonight, so I am a happy damn camper. I am so unbelievably humbled. And this just topped it off.. thank you all so much. LQ
