At work and the city is fairly quiet .......fingers crossed!

But tomorrow morning,going to county office to get permit to pour foundation on new garage....then to lil sis,s house to get desserts and left over food to take to fire station and AA hall.

I just sat down to have a bit of a break while supper is simmering on the stove. I made Pho soup for supper and I also made an Angel Cake to go with a triple berry compote that I put together to serve over the cake, as well as a scoop or two of Vanilla ice cream (for dessert).

I can hardly wait to have supper because while shopping at the grocery store today, I found a set of ceramic soup bowls and matching spoons that are china white and have Blue Dragons, on them.

So,,,, after I finish my cup of tea, it's supper time.

We had a power outage for awhile, so I was just putting candle lanterns away, but not too far away...gonna read while the lights are on ;-)

I've been posting picture of surrealist art (paintings) and I'm also making another batch of Pho! I wish I had Saigon Cinnamon: I read a little bit about how this spice has been used before in Pho and I imagine it's hard to come by. But I want some!

In other news:

I may go swimming later on today.
