Lunch: What's on the menu?

chicken and dumplings. fresh corn on the cob. biscuits. and of course, sweet tea.

Please let it be egg salad sandwiches and sour cream & onion potato chips WITH iced tea.

pasta salad with gouda cheese, basil, grape tomatoes, and a chipotle mayo.

with that will be a club sandwich built as follows:

toasted bread (using a potato bread)...basil pesto spread...ham...bacon...swiss cheese...avacado...lettuce...another slice of toast..one one side with more basil pesto and on the other side a sun dried tomato spread...smoked turkey...cheese...bacon... avacado..lettuce..topped with final slice of toast with more sun dried tomato spread

and there ya have it...both recipes are not my creation ..got them from the pioneer woman. got interested in her when both gren and homoe told me about her. I've tried several of her things now and all have been a hit in this house.
