We still use the term "dial the phone". There hasn't been a dial on the phone in ages. Fact: My identical 23 year old twins NEVER dialed a phone in their lives. Yet they still use the term.
Remember "Party Lines"? I can only imagine what an odd definition my boys would come up with to describe something they have no clue as to what it was. Think about it - 'Party' 'Line'.  Nice thread! Thanks S (and on a personal note, I miss you tons!!!)  |
