I hate to have to admit exactly how right on this is this week. My beloved cat had a seizure and has lost [possibly temporarily, possibly not] her vision, her ability to vocalize [though she has now managed a couple of very small meows of the non-distress variety; she is not suffering] and there is some residual neurological impairment.

She is about to turn 13, so it is likely an underlying condition which caused her seizure. She is my best friend and we have really been through a lot together; especially this past year. While I am hopeful that the vet will say it was just a fluke and that she will be completely fine, I fear the worst. I would say more, but the tarot scope says to be quiet, lol.

Sorry; I'm crying and laughing [trying to stay upbeat] at the same time. On a lighter note, I really like my new job.
