Am I thankful that my mom's hip replacement surgery went well. The doctor and nurses were impressed by her vitals and how well she is doing. The following day she was asking to put on lipstick and have her air brushed lol The nurse asked if she had diamond earrings she wanted to put on also lol
She was being herself I am soooo thankful that she is a strong woman. I am thankful that others care so much about her. A woman, patient next to her in her room, told my mom "GOD must have sent you for me, you are a guardian angel" Mom seems to connect with not only family, friends, neighbours but also strangers. She makes a mark in everyones lives she meets......

I'm thankful for a woman that tolerates my imperfections and does everything she can for me, but does put her foot down if she thinks I should try to do something myself.
I'm thankful for my children, each of them different in so many ways, but all of them so interesting and diverse, maddeningly funny, and very patient with me, they are my blessings and proof that I've had some of the best people in my life. I'm thankful for my feathered and furry family. They are all asking for love and giving it back tenfold, a simple yet daily reminder that I matter.
