Yes, slipper socks have different rules as they are really 'house shoes' and should be treated accordingly.

BUT

They should never go outside, no matter how close the garbage is or how dry the ground is.

I broke mine on a metal bed railing.

The bruising went alllll the way up the front of my foot too, to be covered by cute socks of course.

Dapper, you know I luv ya, BUT this country was founded on the belief that each person is free to wear or not wear socks as they please!

Anya, I am sorry to report that I woke up in the middle of the night and realized I had never taken off my slipper socks.

I have a horrible cold and was doped up on cough syryp with codeine when I moved from couch to bedroom. Normally I feel as you do about this issue ... but I am coming to realize when you are sick NONE of the normal rules matter.

Today's slipper socks = electric blue fuzzy.
