Sunday Morning Overeasy!

After a hectic and stressful night, I've enjoyed a relaxing morning with hot coffee and a good chat with MBD while watching the walkers and joggers brave the bitter cold on the Riverside.

(now I'm back under the covers!)

J*, was a Darling, and took Cosmo out for his morning walk in the sub-arctic temps.

I made breakfast: coffee, pancakes and smoked bacon (from the far reaches of MI).

J* did the dishes.

And now back to bed with a book...

I woke up a bit early this morning cause the fur kids needed to make a pit stop,it didn't take them long with the temps in the mid 30's.While they were out I made coffee then cooked up a batch of belgian waffles with melted butter and real maple syrup to top it off with.The rest of the day will be an easy one,just wondering when and it the snow and ice that's in Dallas will start falling hear as we are right in line for the weather that's coming,U can bet i'm ready for it if it dose.All of you that are dealing with this nasty mess stay safe and warm.

This Sunday woke up at 930. Gave our pup a bath. Made some breakfast. Chill on couch watching tv and online. Time to get ready for work, short week working and chill there too today! haha. Have a good day everybody!

Slept late, which I desperately needed. Now I'm just lazing about in bed, playing on the internet, trying to decide what I can do to relax my mind today. I'm also considering making some peppermint hot cocoa. Maybe a movie...I finished a big goal I was working hard towards yesterday and now it seems surreal to allow myself to relax! But relax I will, damnit!

I have to study all day, as usual. at least on the weekends I can sleep in before I hit the books.
but I'm in bed with my work books and sketch books copying out the brachial plexus and hips muscles and writing out the structure of joints. and attempting to work on a presentation of the joints in the lumbar spine.
during Xmas break though, I'm going to give a presentation of access to health. I'm going g to specialize in people who have difficulty in confiding their personal physical differences or their difficulty with touch. I have been working with friends who are trans and stone and I want to do that as my medical niche. trans (gender or sex), gender queer, stone, and people who may have body disphoria like sexual assault suriviors, people with eating disorders... and people who have difficulty being open about their practices with health professionals like sex workers and kinksters.
since massage is part of the socialised health system in canada, I want to ensure they will get a specialist practitioner who will see them they way they wish yo be seen. who will makes having skin to skin contact a comfortable, and professional interaction.
so... study all day sat amd all day sun I have to. no weekends for me for another 18 months...

No matter how busy our weeks, and Saturday are, we prefer to reserve Sunday for sleeping in with no alarms and just going with the flow. Only real plan today is planting and hanging up planters, and perhaps meal planning since last week we didn't follow it all too well.. :-) Now to crawl back under the covers for a while!
