Watching over tea this morning....
Curling is a weird sport.
I can't help but to laugh at the sight of Olympic athletes frantically scrubbing the ice; brows furrowed in concentration, lol. Is this sport actually played anywhere outside the Olympics? P.S. Apropos to nothing, I've always wanted to luge. It looks thrilling!

I'm watching the mens downhill freestyle competition (aka aerials), and they keep wiping out because the snow is so melted that it's slush. I can see the ground (or grass or green scrub) peeking out through the snow. In some places in the landing area, there is more green stuff than white stuff. Who thought having a winter olympics in a subtropical climate was a good idea?

I'm waiting for the start of the winter triathlon. You know, snow boarding down the hill, cross country trekking for miles, and ending with a triple axle. Just why don't we have that?
Things that make me go hmmmm... Just where do you practice bobsledding? I've never seen a track.

I miss seeing Bob Costas at 8:00 pm every single night during The Winter Olympics. I miss how NBC shows the games. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with how the BBC shows the games. But it's just not the same! My family thinks I am nuts for missing nbc's coverage of the games. My husband doesn't get it at all. Even tho, I have bitched to him about it during every Olympics since the 2010 winter games. When you live over seas you do miss the oddest of things. And this is one of those things..

 Adelina Sotnikova What an amazing figure skating program. Yuna Kim silver was a beautiful program. Carolina Kostner was so elegant. It was a special figure skating event.
