Neverending white
Cold in your bones
Feeling as if nothing
Can warm your soul

Old Man Winter has stayed way too long
Father Sun warm Mother
Mother wake from your slumber
So spring might come forth

The longer Old Man Winter stays
The colder and darker our souls become
This is not our natural state
Mother wake up and shower us with love

Mother and Father
Kindle the fire deep within us
Warm the earth and inspire growth
Not just for us humans, but every living creature

Time to send Old Man Winter
To the southern hemisphere for a time
For this is the cycle of life
Come on Grandfather.. time to move on
