Sunday Morning Overeasy!

Early start today to get Jackhammer off to work and get a sirloin roast in the oven. I glaze it with soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, garlic, pepper, and some other secrets and it is smelling divine in the house already!

Sitting in bed with coffee going through stacks of receipts while the washing machine hums and my big red dog snores softly.

Tinkling rain outside and my favorite Nirvana incense going.

*sigh*

A nice way to put a period on a long, LONG week!

This morning I ask my son what was on his mind for breakfast,waffles says the kid,so I made waffles on my fancy flip waffle maker.He had blue berries with maple syrup, I had strawberry with with Mrs.butter worth sugar free syrup along with a pot of french market coffee consumed.

We have landed! Red and I survived a 2 day trip with our nephews to Gulfport MS! It is raining but we have a balcony with a view and a Waffle House next door! Life is good. New Orleans on Tuesday!

Laptop and me at patio table watching way more hummingbirds than I have ever had fight over two feeders. Really. Saw 9 at once. Crazy fun.

Big dog Gabriel (standard poodle - champagne) watching intensely for 'stinkinsquirrels' to him. I have a cute squirrel feeder on the fence, and if one gets a peanut he goes bonkers. So much fun to watch. Love to hear them bitch at him.

Sitting with a glass of Chardonnay and watching the garden grow. Tommi build the raised garden, and we filled it and planted last weekend. Loving it. Can't wait for first tomato or pepper to be harvested. Spinach, beans, cucumbers and green onions in there also. Red beets too, but someone has been eating the leaves.

Bunny? There has been one seen in the yard.

Love the warm weather. Feel for friends in cold areas. Cooked St. Pat's dinner today - awesome. Leftovers tomorrow.

Started the day out with good coffee, snuggling with my Lamb, and oatmeal with flax seeds and honey.

Today will be a relaxing day of organizing and going through receipts and papers. Have several projects going and love staying busy while I play some Edith Piaff in the background and the scent of Nag Champa wafts around.

Sigh. Love my nest <3

Last sunday was the best sunday I have had in long time. I got to wake to a cool (warmer then I have been used too) windy day with someone so special. We had breakfast, and then hit the road to go see a park that was in full bloom.

It was a great lazy sunday.

Today I had to wake without her but I got to call and wake her we are getting ready to run errands in 2 different states but together. I love the time we spend together even if its miles apart.

today it is errands, laundry and movies what a way to spend them

Our day was wild! The foster puppies change our routine so sleeping late is not an option! Work is crazy along with the weather. Got stuck in a hail storm, and wow people will almost run you over to find shelter for their car. Me, I went to the donut shop called Red had a cup of coffee with the owner and gained a new client. Funny how going with the flow opens new doors. I am test proctor for the next 8 school days. Had 2 days last week. Love the kids but I am sure glad I no longer am 10yrs old :-).
