The demographics he came from have nothing IMO to do with the real problem. He needed help, his mother warned the authorities and under the circumstances they were unable to prevent this tragedy.
He was on a mission and would have gathered whatever he needed in order to carry his plan out. I am always bothered with the stereotyping of any one because of demographics, gender, religion, sexuality, ethnicity and any other category that may be used. What really lead up to him becoming this person is an answer we will probably never know.
