Happiness is....

Coming in to work this morning and on my desk, I found a quart tupperware container with just a smiley face drawing on a POST-IT stuck to top of it. It was full of Beef and Cabbage soup. I immediately called Becky. No, wasn't her. Poured 3/4 of it in a bowl and put it in the microwave. Then checked with Rosemary but one of our secretaries said she is not in today. Then I thought, has to be Laura or my supervisor's wife who cooked it. Saw Laura in hallway on the way to supervisor's office. Yes, it was Laura!!! I hugged and thanked her! It is so good!! Ate a bite even before I stuck it in the microwave. I have 1/4 of the quart left ... trying to save it for later ... hmmm ... but probably will eat it sooner.

Right now is as good of a time as any, wouldn't you say?

*heading for the break-room fridge in stealth mode with my bowl now*
They already saw me come out with the first hot bowl. And the ones who sit with the break-room door in their view like to pick on me and announce very loudly I'm eating again.
