We're here! We have been having all sorts of fun getting the pool ready for summer, putting up some bird feeders and of course, D has been busy with wedding details! I'll be working at my company charity golf tournament on the 15th, but we will make it on the 16th for E's birthday! Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Guess what, Y'all? My handyman came over yesterday to measure a space for my little chicken coop!

Yep! I'm gonna have chickens at Chez Diva!!! I'm gonna start with 3. Austin City ordinance allows 9, but I'm not gonna take advantage of that just yet.....

Yes, I've gotten a lot of good information from June.....

Don't know about Lucy....BUT....the coop will be enclosed ~ even on the bottom, so she (or anything ELSE!) can't dig under, in case she has a 'need' to do so.

What I'm HOPING is that can acclimate and be 'friends'.....I'm playing a lot of Mr. Rogers songs when Lucy's sleeping...subliminal messages, Ya know......
