Starting my day with the lunar eclipse while the breeze kissed my skin and Orion sparked brightly even as the sun was rising...
A good nap after a full night of star gazing, then waking to a cool mid-morning with blue skies and happy puppies... A long hot bubble bath... Car windows down, Blasting and Cranking my surround sound with Nickelback and other rock as I cut through gorgeous country shortcuts (to avoid the highway) with rolling hills and fields of soybeans turning an autumn yellow and miles of cotton ready to be gleaned by huge machines...passing beautiful" paint" and Appaloosa horses enjoying fresh cut, fragrant alfalfa and hay...to retrieve treats from a South Carolina market...thoroughly enjoying my ride and soaking up peaceful energy... Coming home in time to kick back and relax... No pressure or demands from working in politics or corporate drama

I have made great strides to overcome some of my self esteem issues, and I'm not afraid to share what makes me feel good.
Being loved and respected by some dang good, loyal, wildly funny friends.
Knowing I am at home in their house, even for short visits. "FAMILY STYLE DINNER" with said friends/ chosen family...and the laughter that filled the room... Confidence in the fact that I will never allow anyone to isolate and alienate me from my friends or family ever again...they are important to me for a reason. I won't give them up for all the money in the world, empty promises or temporary infatuations. Knowing that my happiness is mine to take charge of, not depending on another to "make me happy" or depending on their attention to be my soul reason for happiness. Going barefoot on the beach, breathing in fresh air and smiling at how far I've come since early February. Feeling empowered and sexy....

The state fair on an absolutely perfect, gorgeous day
Singing along with "Levon" on the radio. Have no idea what that song is about but it's a rarely heard and much loved one. A woman came up to me at the fair and remarked on how close my daughter and I seemed to be. 16 and few problems, knock on wood. Come to think of it, that someone like me and their dad have raised funny, intelligent, and beautiful kids whom I love beyond measure. That "I got it!" look in a student's eyes when something "clicks". Pinnacle Mountain against a burning sunset.

2. Sitting in on Labor and Industry interview about a warm weather violation of my employer.... I,m on the safety commitee.... Will the ever think of all my co-workers....
