On my way home last night, I'm sitting behind this woman who was looking to make a left turn - either she was on her cell phone chatting away or texting - because I really don't think she was paying attention when she tried to cut off the oncoming car (who had the right of way, mind you).
The crash happened just a few feet from me. No one seemed to be hurt, but the right front of her car was completely totaled. People REALLY need to put that cell phone down.

Don't drive distracted
Yesterday I posted about a man who nailed an ambulance and the fire engine behind the ambulance. It happened up the street from my home. The guy is still in Shock Trauma, and thank God the crew from the Vol. Fire Dept. involved were not hurt, nothing serious, but knocked around (bruised up quite a bit) and the ambulance and fire engine did have pretty extensive damage to the vehicles. Unbelieveable. NJFemme, I am so happy that you are ok. That is so scarey to have happen. |
