Tiny dog _insisted_ she wanted some of the human food in my hand - so I gave her a sliver of raw carrot. She sniffed it, and then very carefully, so as not to get her tongue or lips on it, took the very edge of it with her teeth and carefully put it on the floor. Then she looked at me like it was my fault she didn't like it.
Tiny dog soon again _insisted_ she wanted a sliver of raw potato. She finally left it on the floor with a few tooth holes in it. Kitty Diva gazed on throughout with bored derision.
