So many little things brought me joy today...
9 hours of restful sleep last night  a beautiful pm from my Texas sister Canela filled with love, well wishes & prayers. friends that are more like family. When I close my eyes and let the world slow down, I can hear their voices & laughter plain as day. It always makes me smile. our flower gardens are in FULL bloom. No Texas heat is gonna stop us from having that beauty around us. going home at lunch and seeing that the pool installer came back to check the pump... the pool is sparkling clear & ready for us to jump in after work!! |

Its a beautiful day
I awoke with a lot of energy. Packed my grilling tools ,sauce and baby back ribs. I put on my swimming short and headed to the court yard and pool area.
I had to grill early the weather prediction for today is 103 or higher. I grilled the ribs while I enjoyed a sweet conversation with my honey and after I swam for an hour. It is hot here in the beautiful state of Texas, but I still like living in Austin Texas. Once at home I surf the web looking for a nice restaurant in my sweetie's area where I want to dine with her I found the perfect place. I am preparing for my trip. This butch is a planner and very organize.

My classroom lecture finally caught up with my syllabus today! So hard it is to stay on task when you stand in front of a classroom full of students and find that your ADHD doesn't lend well to meeting the deadline that you self-imposed! In my humble defense though, I warn my students on the first night of class that I am not an actual professor...I am just a nurse who is completely distracted by the stupid flourescent light that flickers at a seizure's meter over my head...Oh look! A butterfly! Now where was I? Oh yes, death and dying...

This morning, I went into MBE's room, like always, to make her bed. She'd done it, but I straightened it more.
Later it was destroyed. I had to remake her bed 3 times because Pepper, her Royal Highness, the Holy Terror kept going back to bed. |
