If I am going somewhere which requires concentration or considerable length of time being seated I take along some candies. I find that they help to not only pass the time but to get through the meeting/event. I just have to remind myself to not chew them as it can be a bit loud lol.

It absolutely drives me crazy when these sport anchors (mostly who are former players) grab a piece of equipment (football, baseball, glove, etc) and proceed to demonstrate for us how some play should of been handled!

I don't classify it so much as "Mansplaining" but more of an irritant they just can't give up the limelight in their chosen sport and feel the need to expound as such!

I have this "thing" about getting any type of spot on my shirts. I literally carry extra shirts in my vehicle for things like- chicken wing eating, etc. If there is something on my shirt my eyes cannot ignore that it is there.

I'm a note taker and always jotting notes down so I always have a small notebook and pen in my purse for when I come across important information delivered or discovered.

I am terribly sensitive about bullying. I was bullied relentlessly by three members of my family. My son's were bullied by kids and teachers alike, during their school years. It hurts my heart when I see bullying. It scars a person, being bullied.

I do not understand why I should be expected to be adept at sales/marketing (when job hunting), accountancy and other financial skills (dealing with pensions etc), and why I should be offered choice of which administrators to pay (all of whom offer confusing pricing schemes that look to me to be no more than attempts to confuse and dupe people) in order to continue to receive the same stream of electrons from the power grid that I'd receive if I paid some other bunch of admin folk. It makes NO sense!

I'm a science geek - and I want to know why the sales/marketing/accountancy folk aren't expected to be able to solve science problems as well!
