I was referenced twice in the male pronoun by two different kids today. They're getting comfortable enough to call it as they see it.
Both were corrected by others but I didn't act like they did anything wrong and all was well...

Had some down time at work - watched the worst movie ever on Netflix - well not the (worst) - but I'm pretty sure it rates up there...RAGE w/Lorenzo Lamas (a very bad FBI thriller) - word to the wise - and I'm no Leonard Maltin - but I think I would be safe in saying - you can skip this one...
But, yes - I'm rambling...my point - there is usually something good in every movie - even Gone With the Wind (yes, that's right - not a Gone with the Wind fan - and I realize I might risk rath of those who are - but it was just (way) too long)... Anyway - back to RAGE - I had to wait until the very last line - to get the one good momet or "line" ... Girl: Hey - you know what today is? Guy: No. No, wait - Wednesday. Girl: It's Valentine's Day. Guy: (confused and dazed look on face - because of course they have just blown up half a marina and several people obliterated) - Valentine's Day is in February. Girl: Not for us. PERFECT. - now - as you have come to expect - here is my mushy romantic thought - I feel that way - every day. It's true - (even) when I am a (bonehead) - and yes, it does happen - it happens to all of us guys - because well - (we are guys) and we just are sometimes - even when we don't mean too...BUT - if the women we love (really) love us - they forgive - (and) mine does and did - but - even with all of that...I do feel like every day is Valentine's Day with (her) ---because I feel that excitement that flutter - that (short) intake of breath each and absolutely every time - I hear her say "hi honey" ... and I turn from a Grizzly Bear - into one of those - what do you call them - care bears or something like that...can't help - she melts my heart - in oh so a good way - each and every day - and well...that's the way it should be...to my way of thinking anyway... So, what made me smile...admittedly yesterday was a pretty crappy day - for lots of reasons - but also a good day - because how can any day be bad - when you have the love of a woman such as I have....and yes, I truly do believe I am the luckiest guy (ever). So, thank you to my wonderful lady for making me feel like every day is Valentine's Day.
