On the way to work today, you will never guess what happened. I had to stop about 6 car lengths from the country corner. A flashing light police SUV stopped us, along with stopping all the other directions. I looked around, a police escort ? A funeral ? I saw another SUV leading a red van, and a big semi following it. Ok, a wide load? What the heck is going on, on this country road? As it got closer, I red Budweiser on the van...Budweiser on the semi truck. They turned the corner approaching me. It was the clysdesdales! Three semi trucks pulling trailers! What the heck? Hmmmm. They must have stayed the night at George Straits horse roping arena and where now heading downtown for a parade today. It was amazing. I guess it's not unusual for them to get police escorts. I've never seen anything like it. I told this story many times today
