I really don't like the internship site they placed me at. Its boring and mindless and an insult to my intelligence. I'm a MA and should be doing patients not just paperwork, both but just one thing. Damn them and I have to go tomorrow for 6 hours

Can you bring and iPod with you? If you can, put some really upbeat music on it and ignore them if you can. I used to do this at the bookstore when I had to enter the booklist in, my old employees would argue like children and I had to eventually lock them out of my office and put paper up on the window...

I hate it when placements use an an intern as a gopher or to perform rote tasks because no one else wants to. What a waste, particularly at the graduate level. Do you think it would do any good to talk to your advisor about it? Or, to the employer?

I've tried talking to the career development people about it and they said that paperwork is likely to happen in the beginning but come on now, its mindless and boring to say the least. It sure is a waste, and they grade you on it too. The site supervisor gave 2's and 3's no 1's which is top of the line, I really don't like it one bit and trying to talk to the supervisor is like trying to talk to the president she is always too busy, either on the phone or doing something else. But thanks for the input it really helps to be verified!!

i was sooooo excited to get that house with you. i busted my arse to make sure we had the money down. i worked my ass off to get the house painted and fixed up. i cooked and cleaned and mowed and did laundry and paid my bills. i did any and everything i could to mke our lil happy home. and all i got was shit for it.

i was there with you 100% til the end, but i could never count on you to be there for me. now you are angry because i was trying to be nice.
well fuck it. you will get whatever i owe you, then you will not be bothered with me again.

I don't like lengthy explanations and details in a conversation. I don't have the patience. So when people who have that tendency start telling me something, I tell them to give me the short version. And the thing that I really don't like are rude, constant interruptions or talking over me while I'm speaking to them.

Sometimes, I just hang up, or tell them I have a call I have to take or just put the phone down and come back every now and then and say uh huh....

The fact that I can not get Direct TV because there's no clear path to the Sattelite (although I do like that the technician was honest about said issue).
Wanting something that's not here.
Headaches.
