Lighting a candle for an ex who I have recently rekindled a friendship with. She is going to the doctor on Monday to be released back to work after surgery and a cancer diagnosis. Health and light for a cancer free diagnosis.

A candle for my precious daughter......
She has had more than her share of horribleness in the past week.
She is learning that life has tough shit laced through the wonder of it all.
But she will come through it because she is a Warrior Woman.

for my bestie's papa who's in the hospital with stage two lung cancer and isn't doing too well. that he may have peace and be free from pain.

for my bestie and her family, may they be filled with strength to see them through whatever lays ahead.

Strength and hope. For the love of 21 years, changed from loss and love lost pain to haunting need.
For the hard stuff ahead. Lighting a candle for love that changes and moves on. For lives and loves lost along the path and reborn in a different light and way.

For the words about death and dying, and those she will leave behind. For the Family Trust and her wishes that MUST get done before too long. For Fred, Marlane, Leia, Kristal Rose who really don't understand their One is so sick.

For Peg's lungs to work better so she can take in a deep breath. For the electricity to stay on in these wind so her 4 liters of oxygen and her air concentrator won't be shut off. For her to have strength to hook to the oxygen tanks if she has to. For her fear

and our tears.

For deb, in search of herself. For sherrie the artist and author, that she be discovered and shared with the world. . For SD and Jr. to find solace and safety from bullies, for all those that I have in the Circle of Life, and those yet to come. For my absence and abeyance, in doing what I need to take care of me. and for the Planet

I wanted to thank everyone who rep'd me and PM'd me about a student I wrote about several weeks ago who had suffered two concussions at two soccer games within a week of one another. Slowly but surely he has come back, and this makes me very happy and grateful to see. He's an amazing student and person, and I think the world is way better with him around and able to live out his dreams as he should. I am reading papers tonight and just came across his, which of course, blows me away as most of his writing does. I would have been sad to have missed the opportunity to have not had a paper that explored the genetic imperative and directive that affects human mating. ;-)

Thank you for the good thoughts, prayers and wishes. I hope you all are finding healing, light and love in great measure, SNH

My very first voice teacher ~ Colleen Blondeau ~ died yesterday.
She was the woman who introduced me to opera.
If I am/was ANYthing as a singer and musician, it was because of this woman.
My 2nd Mom, my mentor, my teacher and guide, she was an amazing
Irish soul who lit up a room when she entered.
What I wouldn't give to have just one more conversation with her...just to hear her giggle and see her eyes twinkle.
But now, the Angel Choir is KICKASS!
I sure wish I could hear!
