Had some hamburger gravy from freezer with a bit of rice and cottage cheese.
I have a few containers in my freezer cuz i used to make large batches and freeze them so i could routinely feed it to my dad as he LOVED bisquits and gravy and he was 89 yo and not 1 pound over weight.Anything to make him eat. He passed away this june.... so i thought of my dad as i ate! |

I made a chili lime garlic butter sauce to which I added a few sauteed Argentinian red shrimp. I put that on top of some basmati rice and topped it off with chunks of avocado and halved cherry tomatoes.
Dessert was coconut French yogurt with half of a sliced banana mixed in. |

I had a lovely steak dinner. I made it. One of my better efforts...wasn't burnt, wasn't dried out, wasn't tough as shoe-leather. I should have taken a photo.

Armadillo eggs are a chicken breast stuffed jalapeno wrapped in bacon. Cajun Kiss is the same except really spicy chicken breasts.
Jalapeno poppers here are cream cheese stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon. |

Last night We had 5 Guys. I had a little burger that was supposed to have light mayo, lettuce and tomato and extra, extra pickles but instead it had the tiniest smear of mayo on 1/8 of the bun, one scrimpy piece of lettuce shell, a ton of pickles and NO tomato. Not happy! I should have checked it before We left. Boo.
DC had a bacon burger and He said it was good. We shared fries and I had a cherry shake. Never had a shake there before and likely won't again. Something weird tasting with their milk. Not sure what We're doing tonight but it'll be better than that, I promise you. |
