Remembered something else! Today while I was in my froont yard doing some weeding, a Mom with her little boy rolled by as he was learning to ride a bicycle. Had the training wheels and a huge helmet and the best smile on his face! So did his Mom. He was doing really well and when I said to the Mom that "it wouldn't be long until those training wheels are off," she had such pride on her face. I know her a little as she and her kids moved to my street a few months ago and she is a single Mom working outside of the home. She has a tight schedule, but I always see her doing stuff with her two kids.
I really enjoy living on a street that leads to a great community park and center with a public pool because I get to see lots of kids and their parents walking to it with all sorts of balls and skates, etc. Whole lotta smiles and excitment! Pretty cute! |

What made me smile today was a fue of the elders I take care of at the elder day care.Today a band came in to entertain them,the music was a varied type of jazz,rockabilly,motown,rock and roll ect.Most of them are just at the center day by day so we have a lot of activities to keep them buisey,but the band reached them like nothing we can do for them.They sang,got up and danced as they could,I saw more twinkles in the eyes and smiles in the faces of so many.Yes,music truely reaches the soul and brings back memories of days past.

Boots.
I've had a really nice pair of boots that for some reason I haven't worn in ages. Today I pulled them out of the closet and put them on. They aren't exactly good winter boots but they are nice "dress up" kind of boots. I felt great wearing them. |
