Took a road trip to Alabama Saturday and came home with the best BBQ in the world. Seriously the pulled pork is so tender and juicy with a smokey flavor it does not need sauce of any kind. They give you sauce (vinegar based) but none needed. It's a tiny little shack, no indoor seating and two picnic tables in the shade. It's in Scottsboro and the only place I go for BBQ. Had it for dinner Sat., breakfast Sun. and dinner tonight with fresh corn on the cob. Key Lime Pie ice cream for dessert. Yum!

Katniss~~ 3 hours each way to get there and worth every minute of the drive.

It's my Friday, so I had fried chicken, mashed potatoes and coleslaw. I have discovered several tiny ice cream shops in my neighborhood, I might have to go check one out, when I take my evening stroll.

I had a late lunch/early dinner of a grilled chicken breast with a bbq sauce blend, string beans, mustard potato salad, Italian ices and the last of the Cheetos Snowflakes snacks. Water to drink.

Meatless tostadas with refried beans, tomatoes, onions, cilantro and salsa verde.
Also, Mexican corn with the works, mayo, butter, cheese, lime, chili.

Just a quick meal at home because I didn't feel like spending time cooking or prepping food tonight.

Well those marinating Korean Bbq ribs, were made last night. So...
Today was salad with sliced rib meat, asparagus, orange peppers and red onion.
Sliced strawberries and blueberries.
Diet coke. (I splurged with bubbles!)
