I have so much to smile about today... It almost brings tears to my eyes, I havent been so happy in a long time...
Last night, I received a call very late from my adopted dad's sister. She lives several hours a way. She wants me to know that she and the rest of the family miss me and want me to still be a part of the family. And wished I would have been able to come up today for Christmas... I told her we can all plan on next year I also reconnected with her daughter with whom we were very close growing up.. She has moved around the Dallas/Fort Worth area with her husband and baby. So the best gift of all today is the gift of having family back.. Not my adopted parents but the rest of the family.. Brings happy tears to my eyes, and means sooo sooo much... |

Today was a great day! Stayed at my best pal's last night. Had coffee with her and her gf this morning then to my brother's for family Christmas. I got some awesome shark slippers!!! And I got the novel "The Count of Monte Crisco". I've wanted to read this book for at least 5 years. I was a bit surprised that it's over 1400 pages long!!! LOL But I loved loved loved the movie and a good friend said it was his favorite novel, so I'm looking forward to it! It's also hard cover and will make a nice addition to my library
Well, I don't really have a library, but a book case lol I also got a nice set of Titan's (the NFL team) ear muffs and a new sidelines Titan's cap. My neice is in from France and she gave me a bag of european chocolates It was a white Christmas too Just a wonderful time with family and friends!!! I hope everyone here at the planet had a great Christmas too!!!! ~~~shark~~~~~~~~

While I was listening to this on the LapTop My cute lil boi slides out from the bathroom, wearin MY boxers, and the necktie singin+dancin along all goofy... That shit was priceless... But then, s/he did mumble after I grabbed the tie "I prefer Chapel of Love" Yup, oddly enuff I "breathed" my coffee and choked... timing, oy

Riding bikes in the snow with Miss Pink. Hearing her go "WHEEEE!!!!" when she went down a hill as I took pictures. Me busting my ass trying to climb a hill as the bike slides out from under me. Getting up and trying to traverse the same hill sideways and us laughing some more as the bike flies out from under me. PUSHING the bike up the hill and flying down it and coming to a sliding stop as Miss Pink takes pictures. Nothing like a mix of snow, bikes and love to bring a smile to my face!!
