Camilla. She's not feeling well and she's the mother of one of my buddies.
Camilla is in rehab after having fluid in her lungs after surgery. She's feisty and wants to go home, but she's got to make it through Rehab before getting home. She's 96 years old and is one of my role models. She dyes her own hair and drives a car. That's very fly in my book for a 96-year old and it's what I aim to do at that age, providing I don't have a chauffeur and hairdresser. She's a matriarch who's had eight children and maintained a farm while working as a teacher for the Catholic Church. She retired when she was 82. She's had some health issues over the last couple years and she's on my mind. Hoping she's better soon. |

My Renunciate sisters. I was more or less the last one using the emai group that had been going for many years. The few that still kept contact are on social media, and I am not. So I made a last post, thanked them, and 'switched off the lights and left my key at the desk' so to speak (We considered ourselves a virtual Guildhouse) and said goodbye to the old place. Can't help crying, they helped me through some bad times, but I'm much healthier and happier and ready to cope properly with the world now. There's a big world out there, and somewhere there's someone I can share laughs, life, and love with. I just have to go find her, and finally - I'm ready to do just that.
