Happy December!
We are back in the winter mode here, not real cold but not flip flop weather. The tree is up, and presents are starting to appear. I actually let Red charm me into going out Black Friday and it was as I expected, crazy. People were not in the holiday spirt, more like the evil spirits..Lol. Anyway I survived and now have that experience checked off my bucket list. Mailing my BFP Christmas cards tomorrow. It is always fun to get the cards every year, I enjoy seeing all of them. Hope everyone has a great laid back over easy Sunday and a fantastic week ahead. Peace!

It's cool this morning.
Fireplace on, drinking a cup of coffee, looking at how much left to do in decorating the Christmas tree. Love this time of day when the GF is still sleeping and I don't have to go to work.

Ahhh....lazy Sunday morning with coffee out by pool, furbaby lying on her pillow there, and honey & I chatting.
Our tree is up. Each year we buy glass ornaments in tropical theme. This year, for mine, is a glass fused dolphin with blue frit on her back and differing shades of blue on the chimers. Hers is a smaller turtle with variations of teals, blues, and greens. Got our cookie cutters out to make sugar cookies and decorate later this week. Just lazing around, reading Sunday paper, enjoying our quiet, quality time....I love this day best of all..... Happy Sunday morning over easy, people. Have an awesome week....

I had a late start to the day but I guess that lends itself to the overeasy Sunday theme. I lounged around in bed for a couple of hours before scuttling to the gym. Home now, eating and about to hop in the shower.

i took the puppy home this morning and was treated to brunch by my honey bunny and when we got to his place we made pot of coffee so we will both stay awake watching xmas movies..while the puppy sleeps....we are all worn out...in a good way

The BFP cards have been appearing daily in our mailbox this week. We are going to open them up today after breakfast. Only 9 days left to shop :-). I love this time of year. Enjoyed a yummy omelet...
Getting ready to deliver packages to my neighbor and a young family with two daughters below age 3, who lost their home in a fire. Then possibly going to a friend's in the country to share a few laughs, some blueberry wine and crack up at eachother as we gather up their few chickens to be relocated to Pleasant Ridge. And if I get back in time, a hot dinner with a HAWT friend

It's that nagging gray wet weather here where you think you do not need a coat until you leave the house without one you freeze. Red has been sick since Friday and she is getting house sick, which means once she gets loose she will shop until she drops. I am not sure I want to be here when she get's back, unloading the car could take days. I am looking forward to a short week and some time off. Beautiful, comfortable Sunday morning! Honey loves to cook on weekends as I cook all week long! Today's fare: pecan waffles from scratch......eggs to order, and applewood smoked bacon! OMG! Now relaxing by pool with paper and listening to the birds sing, and the ibis in the yard, and the heron down by the water......have a great week everyone!

i am trying to take it easy today as i have had a really busy week at work and it is just going to get busier...i will spare everyone the gory details of having a crisis almost every day this week...and finally losing it yesterday...my daughter had to call in reinforcements....teddybear arrived and all is well
