I hope to live to see great grandchildren so I can make sure two generations know how silly my daughter was when she was growing up

I adore my sister and cannot imagine not being close to her

we came from an incredibly dysfunctional family but because of therapy, spiritual work, and promises made to our parents, we all have risen above it and are one of the most stable loving families I know

I have one brother and three half sisters none of which Im close with. Their choice and THEIR loss

I have three sets of "parents". My adopted family I dont talk to, my bioligical parents mom is dead and dad who knows or cares, and my foster family. We dont spend holidays together but we still talk.

All of my grandparents are dead

Even as dysfunctional as my family life is or lack there of my bio mom would have been really proud of the person Ive have become

I was on the Spell Bowl and Academic Decathlon teams in high school. We went to State for spelling.

I am fluent in French (I am very rusty).

I used to be able to speak Chinese (Mandarin) very well; now I hardly remember any of it.

I have one brother. I haven't seen him in 21 years. Haven't spoken with him in 16 (long story).

My home is filled with Jen Corace's artwork.

I went to State twice for AP Latin.

I hardly remember any of it.

I have been told I picked up languages easily as a young child (as many do) and spoke very well with several Old World families in the neighborhood. I was between 2-4 when this occured.

I remember NONE of any of the languages I was supposedly so good at speaking (Russian, Italian and German).

I have one half-brother who defected from the family years ago, taking his third wife and his and her and their 4 kids with him. I miss my nephews.

I'm good in step class until they start the combos over from the beginning, then I can't remember what we did first.

I'm sensing a recurring issue with my memory.

When I was little my eyesight was fine. When I was adopted my adopted mom had glasses put on me because my right eye went in just a lil bit cause of a weak muscle. I have worn glasses ever since. I hardly ever wear contacts.

I love receiving flowers as much as I love sending them or picking them for someone.

I dated a counselor of mine once lol

I have two nephews whom Ive only seen once.

I have skin that looks green hued when placed against most other caucasion people's skin. You dont see it unless its contrasted with someone else

my eyes change from brown to green

if I could change one thing about myself it would be that I cant dance...

My brother fought in Afghanistan and in Iraq.. I appreciate all of our troops.

I am right handed.

I get complimented on my eyes almost daily. They are clear blue.

I loved canning fruit and shelling peas when I was younger

I prefer socks on my feet. They get cold easily.

I started sleeping on my right side after a bout with insomnia when I was in middle school. I read somewhere that sleeping like that helps by allowing your heart to drop into a more comfortable location. I tried it and it worked so I've slept on my right side for about 20 years now.

I cry at Publix commercials.

1.) I'm sympatico with elephants. Big time. I'm against freak show/zoo exhibition of such. It's cruel beyond measure. I don't feel bad for people who are trampled by traumatized disoriented enslaved pachyderms.
2.) I sometimes fish "catch and release" for sport even tho I know it is wrong to torment and puncture fish for sport. It's an awful pursuit but I have a nostalgic attraction to fishing and even tho I snip the barbs on my hooks I know it is wrong.
3.) I have no problem dropping live crabs (which I think are beautiful) into boiling water to suffer a horrible death because I like eating them. Sorry crabs. You are too delicious I must boil you alive.
4.) I think I could easily behead and skin a chicken for dinner although I've never done it. Not a cute bantam hen tho. They are too cute. But flesh eaters should "own" it, right? I likes me some chicken.
5.) I disapprove of anyone who murders a spider. Unless it was a black widow or brown hermit or if they were eating it or if there were extenuating circumstances.
*bonus* 6.) I like fur, but only vintage fur. I disapprove of the "fur industry" but think that furs that already exist should be enjoyed. But I approve of new furs created by hunters who eat their prey ( so as not to waste), and the salvaging of furs from roadkill. I like taxidermy created from found sources, but not from murder victims.
