that's funny cause when i read BigButchMistie's post, i wondered if i should admit to eating chalk as a kid. i still remember the dry, powdery texture....loved it.

Wondering if I will get a decent nights sleep, and wonderinf if at the least I will be able to get SOME kind of sleep without the night terrrors I've been having a lot lately. It sure would be nice to get a few hours in a row of sleep with out them.

the lack of sleep must be catching. Even with Ambian I am unable to fall asleep. Some of it is how my body aches from weeding. But, it doesnt hurt that much... I have delt with far worse and fallen asleep. I am not having nightmares. And when I do fall asleep I am sleeping sound and wake up rested. But why is it I struggle with falling asleep?? So odd...

oh...goodness...I just remembered I left my tea pitchers outside...on the front steps. One is capped so no bugs will get in it but the other pitcher isnt capped...

sighing...oh well...memory issues rise again...lol

how calm and clear I feel when I listen to my instincts...it's quite nice, when all is said and done...especially when nothing's even been said and *certainly* I haven't been done !

and then...

that I'm running out of macadamia nuts...that I will take care of during my pre-work errands tomorrow...both the post office and trader joe's are open early, and on the way

I am exhausted. About two weeks ago my doctor diagnosed me with exhaustion/sleep deprivation and tld me to get at least 8 hours sleep every night. So far I've managed to do that only a handful of times. Something always comes up...

This weekend I had to go out of town for a funeral and did not sleep much - strange bed, etc. Thought I was going to get home early enough last night to go to bed early - WRONG! Unforseen construction delays on the highways backed up traffic so badly on I-40 that it took me over an hour to travel 9 miles. Was so tired last night that I could not sleep - geez I hate that. 5AM arrives awfully early!

News from the sports medicine doctor I'm seeing about my knee injury. Got the results back from the x-rays and ultrasound today, and it seems it's not what my doctor originally thought. She'd said it was likely that the ligament had been stretched from the impact, though not torn, and so it would just need restrengthening in order to rehab it. The results today showed that there's actually a small crack in the cartilage. Apparently surgery does not help, and running, jumping and participating in contact sports (check, check, check) will likely widen the crack. He suggested I start acupuncture to relieve the pain so I can start being active again. Won't do anything about the cartilage, but I don't want to stop doing what I love.

I read about this nanofiber gel they've been doing research on at Northwestern University, that apparently can cause cartilage to regenerate...I hope they hurry the hell up with it. I would gladly be a guinea pig on this one if it means I get my knee back to the way it was.

im wondering why am i not sleeping again!! i spent another day in the dental chair and have taken alot of the pain killers but still no sleep!! make my mind wonder.. could be dangerous... but when you start not feeling at home in your own home is it time to move? or maybe time to get new furniture.. i hate moving.. maybe i should just go on my planned road trip and see how it feels when i get back.. i need to decide by the end of sept if i want to stay here in az or move up to wyo. wish i could keep doing both. wyo is beautiful but so friggin cold in the winter and az is almost year round motorcycle weather but to but way to hot for 5 or 6 weeks out of the year. hmmm

When will the economy rebound? So many are having such an awful time and our coingressional leaders haven't a clue about the day to day struggles of just plain working people!!! The unemployment extension passed today is not going to help as many people that need it and won't do a thing for job creation. I'm glad it passed, but, people need some damn hope about our actually getting out of this economic slump and some economic stability.
