PLEASE, PLEASE, light a candle and pray for our special needs dog, Baxter! His skin cancer is back and he has surgery this coming Tuesday. He and his litter mate, Bo, turned 9 last month and both are epileptic. Our 12 yr old girl, Bailey, had to go on pain meds for severe arthritis. Please send healing energy to my poor babies.

I pray to whatever powers that be that this chapter of my life will conclude tonight without an epilogue. In fact, I'd like to just throw the whole damn book into the bonfire.

Thank you for your kind words, ocean. She went to the hospital and they gave her a radiation pill to take. She is home now. She sounded good. Tomorrow is supposed to be the worst, but hopefully, she is on the upward slope now to get rid of the cancer and get her thyroid better regulated. If not, they will remove it. I think she will feel better than she has in years once the doctors get everything under control.

My BFF/ sister-in-law made it through surgery, but we won't know the outcome until next week. So I'm here again today, to light candles for her, and for others too.

My BFF (sil) received news that she is cleared of cancer. They got everything out and her subsequent tests came back negative, so that's good news for our family.

I'm here again today to light candles for Orema and her partner....

And maintaining candles for myself and others, as well.
