Wild hogs to be exterminated in Fannin

The landowners of Delta and Fannin Counties have received a TDA (Texas Department of Ag) and TCE (Texas Cooperative Extension) grant to eradicate all wild hogs. Significant numbers of private landowners have signed up, many next to public areas.

The exterminators have guaranteed a 70-80% reduction in total hog numbers. They will use aerial gunships, helicopters with automatic weapons, to dispatch the animals. This will significantly reduce the number of wild hogs in Delta and Fannin Counties.

This will also significantly reduce the number of hogs in and around Cooper WMA and Caddo Grasslands WMA located in those counties. Aerial Gunning will begin January 18 in Fannin, and January 24 in Delta. (They WILL NOT be shooting on public lands, the WMAs)

Did I use to frequent this thread in another land? Do - wonder if sime of the same people from that land frequent this land? Do I welcome the opportunity to meet new questioners? Is anyone in fear cause the Oopster is here? Will I always think of Opi when I question? How many questions can I post before I get my next job? Would it be quicker if the keys weren't so damn small on my blackberry? Will I run out of things to ask? Will I remember all my question marks? Will I make any mistakes? Is my blaclberry misbehavin? Why is a blackberry called a blackberry and not a blueberry or some other type of berry? Are there wild hogs in LA? Did they not catch one recently?
