Wine "What's Your Taste"

Inspired by the Beer "What's Your Taste" thread...

I've never been a beer drinker and couldn't be if I wanted to as I have celiac disease but I do love a good glass of wine. Red, especially. I like cabernet, merlot, pinot noir, and shiraz.

What about you? Any fellow "whinos" in the house?

I consider it important to be heart healthy while I pickle my liver.

Merlot is always a safe bet for me. Although my favourite would probably Wolf Blass White. Sauvignon Blanc

Champagne is my beverage of choice when not imbibing on some rockin' micro brews we have in Wisconsin.

I know, I know, let the cheese jokes commence.

Champagne close enough to wine to respond in this thread?

This is what I know about wine: It's made from grapes and it tastes good. I grew up having wine with food and that is still a preference.

I like a buttery Chardonnay. A rich Cabernet Sauvignon. A smooth Chianti. I'm always up for a great Champagne or Prosecco.

Barefoot Pinot Grigio is my go to wine. When only a red will do, I prefer a Cabernet.
