I love the way the light seems different in autumn. Fading afternoon light seems to say, "Get inside! Bake some cookies! Wear your toasty warm bedroom shoes!" Glowing front porch lights are cozier and more welcoming: "Come inside! There are warm cookies here! You can warm your feet by the fire!"

No snakes (maybe that depends on where you live) No lizards on my porch Have to go with the changing leaves also Holidays to look forward to Time change (extra hour of sleep) I always feel more energetic in the fall also
