Austin Disaster Relief Network
Patrick Terry, the company's founder, said the decision was a direct response to the "unimaginable" sadness pervading the community. All proceeds will go to the Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN), which has been providing on-the-ground support to flood survivors and rescuers since the disaster began.

What they're saying:
"What's happened here over the last few days has really been unimaginable. The sadness is everywhere," Terry said. "We're hoping, as a P. Terry's family, that a small gesture can make a difference. And when we come together with these small gestures, maybe something big will happen."

The funds will specifically contribute to ADRN's "Central Texas Flood" fundraising campaign, which provides essential supplies, emergency assistance, and long-term support for flood victims and their families.

P. Terry's, with locations across Austin, San Antonio, and Houston, emphasized its commitment to community support. "Our community has always been at the heart of who we are," the company stated. "While we may just be a burger stand, we believe we have a responsibility to step up when our neighbors need us most."

There will be a special place in hell for people who hurt girls, ladies and women. Trust me (I am a sex assault survivor): you WILL be found out. You WILL pay a huge price for your smoke & mirrors gamesmanship. No one will save you from what you’ve done to those who have fought for years to bring you to justice. May your comeuppance be so spectacular that everyone will remember your horrid choice (s) to hurt others.

Thanks Kätzchen for including the link. I was HIGHLY surprised that Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of four Republicans (three of them women)who has joined the Democrats in calling on Congress to compel the release of the full Epstein files, unredacted. Apparently, they only need two more Republicans to join them to make this reality.

I still don't think I'll be voting for MTG, but I will at least stop calling her "Margarine".

I just want to say I have personally seen, witnessed, tragic events in my metro area: 1) this past summer I saw police & ICE take down two elderly Mexican immigrants (married couple) just blocks from my dental office. 2) Yesterdays morning on my way to work, in my neighborhood— police, sheriff’s, ICE, and ambulance contractors were at the home of a large Mexican family, with their fleet of work trucks and such(long time time lawn and garden grooming business)(they even own their own home), being arrested at their home. This was particularly cruel because it happened during early morning hours when people are still sleeping in bed.

My heart sank for them. (Broken heart icon)

They’ve been here legally for f*cking years.

WTH.

PS/ ICE also uses salvaged vehicles WITHOUT license plates. That your BIG warning sign it’s ICE agents. I sat behind an ICE vehicle without plates in traffic yesterday.
