Hope everyone is doing fine tonight.I cannot sleep so I figured I would bother you guys and dolls.....I made mac and cheese today from sweetie pie's receipe. She has a restaurant known for this dish. It came out really good. Does anyone want to try a piece???
I really need a vacation but cannot go right now. I would like to have two weeks with no phone calls just relaxing on the beach with some tall refreshing drink in my hand.
Has anyone taken a vacation yet? Maybe I can enjoy one through cyber ville LOL

Zgirl you want to trade jobs with me???? You must have gone mad. LOL It is called stress city and hardly anyone makes it out alive at the end of the day....

My brother in law and sister are die hard Gamecock fans. I have more Gamecock stuff that I've received as gifts.

The only "vacation" was when I went to DC a few months ago and that really wasn't a vacation. I don't forsee myself going on a vacation anytime soon

Good Morning Singles! I hope everyone had a good night and has an even better day. I woke up at 5am and am guzzling the caffiene. Maybe I'll take a nap later. Today its supposed to get up to 97 or so....today is definately time to get my "sun fix" (yes I have sun block). I haven't been to the pool for a few days cause I wasn't in the mood

Good morning everyone. I'm not looking forward to my 15hr shift tonight but I AM looking forward to a calm, relaxing weekend...I hope! I also hope it stays in the high 70s/low 80s like it has the last couple days, instead of the high 90s like it has been. Everyone have a wonderful day, and enjoy your weekend!

Good morning everyone! happy friday!.. to all that are looking for vacation.. umm if you can handle 100 to 110 heat during the day come on out!! 10 mins from the a real wide part of the colo river were you can float around on a raft, jet ski, cannoe, kyack or about anywater fun. or you can hang in the casinos that line the river a little further up.. with free showes and drinks in you drop some change in the machines.. plus the room rates are like $10.00 at night wk nites an $19.00 on weekends. and these are top rated casinos!! guess vegas another hr up the road draws most so the rates stay low in laughlin. i sure like to hang out there when im board or want to pick up some bucks for my toys.. trucks/bikes.
finaly found why i had a slight stumble/miss in the engine on my project truck.. had a small vacume leak by the EGR. dang this thing is coming together sweet! Karma says hi to everyone and said to wear sunblock on your nose (he does) says it helps alot!

Good Morning. I'm planning a vacation in mid September. I'll be heading to Rehoboth Beach, DE for their pride weekend. It's only 2 - 2.5 hours away. I'm planning on staying at a place on the beach and hopefully getting an ocean front room. They're pricey though. I'd consider sharing a room if anyone else has plans on attending the Rehoboth Beach pride festival.

15 hr. shift...WOW! What do you do, if I may ask? I feel for you on that one..used to do many 16 hr. shifts!!! Glad those days are over for this gal! Have a wonderful weekend, Dixie! I have a really nice one planned also! Tomorrow I am making dinner for a friend...Marzetti, garlic toast, and a home made cherry cobbler! Having breakfast early tomorrow am with a friend, then walking on beach for a bit before that oppressive heat comes in.....<smile> AND otherwise stay in...dense smoke fog is back. That stuff is hard on my eyes..makes them burn when I come back in! Sunday I may go see Mr. Popper's Penguins...that is so cute on the advertisments!

wow my misspelled words arnt intentional!! ive been here sence last aug. lived in phoenix for a fews years. spent most my life in calif im a oklahoma native.
ya a huge raft with a buch of us floating around stoping in casinos when we want. they do fireworks on the river at night (casino sponsered). all the rates stay low because its so close to vegas.
Karma thinks hes people. so i put sun screen on he has to have it too. lol when my back hurts and i have to elevate my legs he goes around the other side of the pillows and lays on his back with his lil legs up on the pillows.. he is a trip! when im watching football an yell go-go-go he runs around in circles waiting for me to toss popcorn in the air.
im rebuilding/refurbishing a 94 chevy ex cab stepside. with the big 454ss.. it wound up in the lake when the guy backed his boat in the truck followed it... im thinking he forgot to put it in park.(maybe a lil mucho beer?) then it sat and dry rotted most the bushings and gaskets. but it only has 50,000 miles on it.. so.. its taking some time but cleaning up great!

Sweeetttttt! on da truck. Yea, he sure did forget to put in park...BUT his stupidity is your just reward when ya finish it. 454ss.....pretty powerful engine there, boss!!! Yea water does have a way of rusting out brake lines, gas lines, etc. You can always tell a vehicle that was used to load and unload a boat....lay down, look underneath carriage...rust is present on it......brake lines alone to replace are expensive!!!! Anyway, hope ya making pictures of before/during/after and post them!!!
