 a happy, healthy son with a delightful sense of humor a beautiful, comfortable home in an area that I love the dog beach...and the wonderful things that does for me physically, mentally and emotionally improving health...losing inches and weight, consistently good lab results after 20+ years of diabetes a good job...for the last 5 years friends who take the time to listen a partner who loves and appreciates me for who I am, and who is solid, honest and real...even when life gets difficult

I am thankful for healthy, beautiful children. I am thankful for a not so healthy, beautiful child that has taught me what strength and perseverance means. To not take the little things for granted. I am thankful to be over worked and under paid (most days
 ) because it provides a roof over our heads and food in our bellies. I am thankful for friends who accept me just as I am. I am thankful that I have someone who can see past my moodiness and loves me unconditionally. Someone who tells me I'm beautiful when I look a wreck and kisses me with morning breath. I'm thankful to be alive and share my days and nights with these amazing people.

I'm thankful for being able to return to work tomorrow to a new, shiny position after a 6-month poor health hiatus. I'm thankful to be happy, healthy and alive. I'm thankful for the boost up the ladder this will give me. I'm thankful for friends and family for their love.
My laundry is done, my dishes are washed, I have a freezer full of lunches and my go-bag is repacked. Bring it. |
