I tell ya its cold and brr for me and the dogs too they don't seem to like it very much either. Well what can you do we wish for spring to come soon but three more months of this stuff!! I can't let the dogs out the backyard because there is so much snow on the ground its up around my hips I think. So no backyard for them. I just let them out the front they don't go very far just to the snow bank and back but wow the wind chill is out there..I need groceries but not going until tomorrow when the roads are a little bit better..ok I have ranted enough have a good day..

The thoughts that run through my head and get ranted about on my LJ...
I feel I have been a good mom, I have loved her and been there when she needed me most, even those times when she thought I wasn't there. I have waited in the wings while she figured stuff out for herself because she didn't need my help because she knew what she was doing. Isn't that funny, we bring them into this world only to be told time and time again that they don't need us. So we step back and watch them stumble and fall, biting our tongues as we watch them struggle to regain some solid ground. It is like watching them learn how to walk again, you are scared and excited all in the same moment as they teeter and totter back and forth. Gaining independence as they move along in this crazy world. while I whispered a silent prayer to whoever was listening and was protecting you. *Keep her safe, but let her learn, and bring her back when she is done.* I never knew that being a mom was going to be so joyful and so painful all at the same time. One thing I have learned is that you can never love them enough to keep them safe and free from heartache...

ugh sitting at airport..original flight 740 got pushed back to 927..Jo just called and said pushed back AGAIN to 1020...why dont the damn airlines just be honest and say..its a hit or miss...take your chances instead of spooning feeding you all this bullshit. grrrr

Have you ever wondered how things get named? Like Doritos. WTF? Or Cheetos. Or Fritos. I believe all of those come from the same company. Somebody got on a serious 'OS kick. I'm imaging a large room full of .... what do you call the peeps who name shit? name-maker-uppers? Ok so there's a room of name-maker-uppers and someone says (of doritos).... 'diamond chips!' (yes, the exclamation mark cause you know they'd be excited cause they thought it up). Some other name-maker-upper - 'no, no, zesty chips!' And then there's always that one person who comes up with the dorky shit who will eventually get demoted to thinking up cereal names cause he or she says, 'dragon's breath'. And of course that just starts a land slide of bickering because the person who came up with dragon's breath is pissed cause they're always being ignored and everyone else thinks they are stupid. I'm sure you can see the snow ball there too (hence the demotion). So I see it happening two ways... one... out of the fighting, bickering chaos comes a slight voice that says 'Doritos'. And suddenly the room goes silent. Everyone nods, grabs their laptops and coffee cups and goes home... or.... and this is my bet.... everyone's fighting and they're out of time so the next day the boss comes in and asks for the name and someone just panics and blurts out 'DORITOS'!!!!! I'd say it went pretty much the same way for Fritos and cheetos. Now I'm wondering who makes Tostidos. Hmmmmm

This also makes me think of slogans for things. Some products have cute and catchy little slogans, or annoying little jingles that stick in your brain. Then there are some that you see and just go "wtf?" Have you seen this commercial for the new Trojan vibrator thingy?? Seriously? Most ad agencies and product companies would want you to think of something "sexy" that would make you run out to buy a product like this. Obviously not Trojan. This is one of the DUMBEST ad campaigns I've ever seen in my life. Blow your hair back? If I'm buying a vibrator I do not want to think about it causing bad hair...I'm just vain like that and chit...

The really crazy thing is that not one, not two but several people said - oh yeah, that's a great idea! And all of those people would be called ass kissers!!!!! LOL And the really really crazy thing is that someone sold that shity idea to Trojan! And they said - oh yeah, that's a great idea!

So the snow melted a little bit and the dog found a way to get out the back door and under a chair where there is little snow to go potty there so I guess he is happy now..I am happy that he can use the backyard and go to the bathroom because he wants out all the time..yay!!
