I have a HUGE cup of coffee and I'm not going to let a silly night on a forum affect my day. Way too much other stuff going on in my life to give this any more time.

Happy 4th of July weekend everyone. I haven't had much "me" time lately. Worked an 11 hour shift last night and a 10 hour one the night before. I'm really looking forward to a day off. I do have one bright spot today...I get to webcam with Dixie soon. Then back to work tonight. Day 6 of 11 and getting my 2nd wind. Enjoy your holiday.

I do think that the entire conversation was taken out of context though. I am catholic and teach at a Catholic school and what was said last night by myself, as I cannot speak for others, was all said in fun and not as an offensive comment about any religion. the same comment I made could have been made about not kissing the ring of a mob boss so to speak. I apologize if it offended anyone but, I do believe that there was no intentional offense meant.

Exactly, Insatiable! There was not a thing said against any diety//religion/Bible/etc./ We were just having friendly banter amongst ourselves! It was taken entirely out of context! I also send/sent an apology if indeed Zimmy had been offended! I meant no intentional offense. That is all I am going to say about the whole thing! The same could be said for so many of the posts others make BUT I take it for what it is...harmless, playful banter! Life is hard enough without making it more so with what someone "may" have said or "may have meant"! For myself, the matter is closed!

and our holiday has come and gone.
I'm supposed to be going to my Mom's this week or something, to visit her and some relatives coming into town. It would be much nicer if Mom lived in town or something, but no, she lives 90 minutes out and I have to take the bus.
I hate the bus.

I guess no trouble for me for a few days.
