Flannel lined blue jeans....As a kid growing up and playing outside in winter in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, these were a godsend........

We had a oil space heater in our apartment and my dad attached a fan on top of the door casing to circulate the heat that rose to the top...

Anyone remember weatherman Bob Sheets who broadcasted Hurricane Andrew

in Miami FL. Chief Meteorologist of a local channel.

You saw him get progressively more exhausted. Was on the air all the way

thru the hurricane. No breaks no naps. Retired shortly thereafter, but made

a whole bunch of South Florida feel not alone. Really reassuring!
