Tomorrow is my one year anniversary with my partner

We're going out of town for a nice weekend away and I can't wait.

Next Thursday I pick up my daughter from her first year away at college and I can't wait.

Next weekend is an annual party on a mountaintop to celebrate life and raise money for the children of a dear friend of mine who passed four years ago. I can't wait to celebrate her life with our friends.

Some serious relaxation this weekend. I have a volunteer event this weekend that I help with every year and I will likely go because I would feel bad vegging on the couch knowing all of those kids are out there looking forward to seeing all the volunteers.

Looking forward to this upcoming 3 day weekend. I am also going with 2 of my friends to the American Legion my late gramps belonged to. They are putting up plaques for those who served in WWI and WWII and have passed on.

I am going to honor my gramps for putting his life in jeopardy and making no bones about it.

Lunch in someone's castle. A co-worker lives in a castle and has invited a bunch of us to a celebration lunch today. I visited her years ago and remember the castle being on the dark and drafty side, but cool nonetheless. I have no idea what's on the menu, but it should be fun and will be a nice break from the norm.
