I have a little neighborhood garden club that I started. Tomorrow we’re all meeting in my pavilion for a backyard presentation by a friend of mine who is a practicing witch. She’s going to give the talk on the origins of Halloween and paganism. And she’s going to explore the different kinds of herbs and plants that are used in spells and daily this and that in the pagan world. I’ve made cookies and bought cider and putting out grapes and crackers and pepperoni and cheese, some candies, etc.
It’s going to be a beautiful day tomorrow and I am so excited about this very first little gathering in my new pavilion!

How i make Lavender Water
I use Fresh Levander on it's stem or dried if fresh is not available
Bring to a boil distilled water
Gather your Lavender stems in a bundle and tie with a cotton thread or twine
Find a small pretty vase or glass bottle
Place Lavender stems in vase, buds facing down
Carefully pour distilled water into vase/bottle and fill to top
Let steep and cool to room temperature
You may choose to strain water at this point. I do
Cork bottle and store in refrigerator
The next day i put the mixture in various spray bottles and store in refrigerator until use. During summer mist face & body to smell delicious and to moisturize. In winter i often spray it in my just washed hair and mist face & neck. And yes I do cast a spell on my lavender water, it's one of my beauty secrets, i don't share. except with you
