I'm excited. Scheduled a photo session with a professional photographer to take pictures of my dog Gouda. I've been wanting to do this for quite some time now and since I got lucky at the casino recently I can lol. My goal is mostly pictures of her alone, some with me/her and most important a good head shot because I want to use it as reference for my first tattoo.

Now I just have to save for the tat and find a good artist!

Deborah thanks for asking about Gouda! She's still with me. I'm not sure if you knew she had cancer and wasn't expected to live past 12/10. Here we are going on 1 year longer then even the canine oncologist thought

She just turned 10 and still has a lot of energy, hence why I'm doing the photo shoot now. I'm blessed she is in remission but with cancer one never knows. Thanks again for asking about her

One of my co-workers. She's such an awesome and upbeat person and we often help each other out. There was a huge rush of customers I had to deal with today in my dept., and of course the usual group of those freaking out about "now you're sure I need parging mix?...it is a small wall like this...let me show you this crappy black and white photocopy I have!" "yes...take the fucking parging mix"

Or they just feel like being an asshole to you and expect you to drop everything you have to do to help them because they are more important than everyone else.

But anyways, in the middle of all that she walks upbeat as usual, and all she had to do is say hey and a short exchange of what's ups in her usual "nothing can piss me off" kind of way and I instantly felt so much more positive. It's amazing how some people just spread positive energy like crazy. It's definitely what I needed and I wish I could be like her in keeping that kind of attitude.

Long story short, my co-worker made me smile today when I felt like shit and I think I could learn something from her when dealing with assclowns

My angel taking me out on a date for Mexican food, buying me a margarita, and the two of us getting the best service we ever had at this restaurant.

We always try to dine in the bar, because it's open air and usually isn't too cold for Timber, and tonight was so mild. The waitstaff there is usually sketchy, so service isn't always the best. They don't designate waiters in the bar, so you basically get the first person that takes the initiative to come ask if you need assistance.

Tonight, Timber was wearing hir rainbow paw print t-shirt and with hir clearly masculine looks, there was no question of our orientation. We sat down at our usual table. The first waitperson (her name was Diana) to approach our table was clearly family. She was the epitome of excellent wait service. Incredible attention to detail, keeping our glasses filled and making sure we had everything we needed even before we could ask. She made this dinner at this restaurant the best experience yet. They always have comment cards on the table, but we've never actually been asked to fill one out. Diana made a point to bring one with our check, and asked if we would rate our dining experience. Timber gave her high marks on all points, and wrote a personal note complimenting her care and attention to us as customers.

We will definitely ask for her in the future.

Still smiling as my honey watches the TV show I record for hir each week, and I got caught-up on one of my fav shows via the internet.

Off to share the rest of the night together. Hope you all have a nice one, too.

What made me smile really big was my son finaly installing my majic jack,works like a charm,now I can call the phone company I use and cansel my account..thats $75.00 bucks a month that will go in the bank for next years reunion.Hes a good son.
